GPS wont move with my location on Maps

When I go into the IPhone maps app on my phone, normally and most of the time it pinpoints my location, but when Im in the car moving by long distances, the blue dot wont move with my car. I assumed that the GPS part inside my phone was damaged or weak, but if that was the case, I doubt Maps would even be able to find my location. I have tried everything, from resetting network location and privacy to factory settings, airplane mode, toggling location privacy and settings, etc. But yet i cant seem to find my problem. On my other phones, they work fine so it cant be the OS or the make of my iphone. Any ideas would be appreciated.
