I just purchased Compressor 4.

I just purchased Compresssor 4I have a project I want to compress how do I compress it to share to the hard disc or DVD?

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

Compressing large files I have. FCPX project that’s about 90 minutes long. It’s 1920/1080. If I share as master file / computer setting the files about 9GB. Two guestions. 1 if I share via Google Drive are there any issue with a client downloading and playing on a laptop or TV? 2. Any recommended settings or techniques to compress to below 4GB to fit on a USB drive. Someone told me to take master file into Hand Brake and adjust bit rate to achieve the smaller size. iMovie Insufficient Storage to Export My son created a documentary using iMovie for is school project due today. After clearing space on his iPhone he still cannot share the file via iCloud Drive (2T). If I back up his phone onto my desktop, is this an option to access the project file then attempt to compress the file do he can share it? We are desperate and would appreciate any help. Thank you.

By project do you mean a FCP X project?

You know you can export to DVD, or H264, etc, right from inside FCP X, right?

Compressor gives you a lot more control over the data rate, etc, but I am sorry to say that if you are asking you probably did not need to buy Compressor.

It is not hard, but I have a class to teach. If you still need directions I will be able to assist somewhat, later today.

I just purchased Compressor 4.
