Greetings dulce17,

It appears the GPS with your iPhone is giving you unexpected results. Having accurate location services is important. I'd be happy to help provide guidance with this behavior.

Please take a look at the following guide:

Get help with Maps

Specifically, these steps may help:
  1. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services and make sure that Location Services and Maps is set to While Using.
  2. Make sure that you set the date, time, and time zone correctly on your device. Go to Settings > General > Date & Time. If possible, use Set Automatically.
  3. Restart your device.
  4. Make sure that cellular data or Wi-Fi is on and that you have an active connection.
  5. Try a different location or switch to a different Wi-Fi network.

Good afternoon dulce17,

Thanks for following up here, and letting us know the steps did not resolve your issue.

If you choose to restore the device and set it up as new, I suggest you create a backup with iTunes or iCloud first to save your data. See how to create a backup here:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

If the behavior persists after setting up the iPhone as a new iPhone, then I recommend to contact Apple for further assistance. You can see how to contact Apple for further help from the following article:

Cheers!
