Files app security
Can anyone tell me about security features, if any, in the Files app? Specifically, can I restrict access to a file or folder. It’s already apparent that I can’t share a folder, which is extremely inconvenien.

No one can access the file unless you share it or give your device to someone. There isn't any way I know of to restrict access like password protect.
