After latest Windows 10 update, Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard will not work in Windows

I had this setup with my Magic Mouse 2 and my Magic Keyboard working on my MacBook Pro Retina 15" from mid-2015 for several months now, without any problem.

I noticed yesterday, when I restarted from Windows to boot in macOS that Windows proceeded to install an update. Tonight, when restarting in bootcamp, i saw that Windows completed the update it started before I rebooted the night before.

Now, both my Magic Mouse and my Magic Keyboard will not work. Windows 10 will see them but they just don't work. When I type on the keyboard while having the Bluetooth preferences window opened, I see that the status of the keyboard quickly switches from Connected to Paired then to Connected again, then Paired, and so on. When I stopped typing, it stopped and stayed at Connected but typing on the keyboard doesn't do anything.

The Magic Mouse status in the Bluetooth preferences shows it as Connected, but not Paired. It doesn't matter if I turn off the mouse and turn it back on. If I remove it from Windows, each time I try to connect and pair, Windows reports that it can't connect and suggest I try again.

I was able to get them to work both after reading an older solution for a similar problem. Basically, I removed them from macOS (not disconnected, but removed from the Bluetooth preferences), then, I rebooted in bootcamp, making sure to turn off both and turn them back on. I had to plug my keyboard through USB to login and get to the Bluetooth preferences but there, I was able to connect and pair my Magic Mouse. Then I proceeded to do the same with the Magic Keyboard. I unplugged if from USB and was then able to connect and pair. But as soon as I reboot in macOS and add both devices to Bluetooth, restarting in Windows brings back the same problem. Even though I still turned both devices off then back on, Windows was back at not doing anything with them.

Anybody had the same problem?

And, please, no SMC reset suggestion. Frankly, there are some situations when the SMC reset is advisable but I'm knowledgeable enough that this situation is not one of them!
