Whatsapp from Android/GDrive to Iphone/Icloud

Good day everyone, I have a new Iphone 7 after experiencing Android life for many years.

I have whatsapp backed up from my android phone into google drive.

I've hunted the web *a lot* to find a solution restore the whatsapp chats from google drive to icloud as that's the only way Iphone will restore - including within these communities but nothing seems to be working.

The backup in googledrive is entitled whatsapp backup (but is supposedly inaccessible) and there is also a file entitled copymydata-backup which has 3 .xml files (manifest, contacts, calendar)

Grateful for some new suggestions and thanks again.
