iMovie crashes when sharing

iMovie 10.1.8

High Sierra 10.13.3


I tried starting with OPTION COMMAND and deleting preferences but it didn't help

Several people on this forum have reported your issue. The letters "lpcm" in the error message refer to an audio codec. Read through this link and see if there is anything in there that helps you.


iMovie 10.1.7 Export Failed


Sharing out at Best Quality (pro res) seems to resolve the issue. You will get a large sized .mov file versus the .mp4 files that you get by default with all other share out settings.
