MacBook Pro won’t turn on

I’ve had this problem before, last November I brought my MacBook in when it wouldn’t turn on when I pressed the power button (it would make the whirring noise that signals it’s about to turn on but then the screen remains black) and the apple support guy was able to fix it. It has been working fine since then, a little slow but it’s five years old so that’s to be expected, but I just arrived in Dublin two days ago and tried turning it on for the first time here and it is going through the same thing again. It’s still able to hold a charge, so my charger cable and everything still works, it’s just not able to turn on. I’m going to try to have it looked at again here in Dublin but if anyone has advice or suggestions I would really appreciate some help. Thank you!
