Messages no longer sorting by most recent message

Hi Gents/Ladies,

I noticed the most recent messages on my phone are not sorted anymore.

The most recent messages are going above my previous sent message.

It's very annoying and I kept missing important messages.

I have an iphone 7 with the latest IOS version 11.2.6(15D100)

iPhone 7, iOS 11.2.6

I think it's a bug. Apple supposedly addressed it in that most recent iOS update, but it persists for some people. I happen to notice it occurs with some SMS messages, but not iMessages.
