Amazon gift card virus pop up

I am so tired and annoyed by this Amazon gift card pop up virus. It occurs all the time and the virus prevents smooth web browsing on Apple products. This is worse than a lot of the annoyances on windows based products because you can’t clean this out. If Apple doesn’t resolve this I am done. Usually I hold onto my phone for two years and after that I will get away from Apple all together and just use my Apple TV only. I can at least clean these type of issues out on a windows program.

Tell Apple

Product Feedback - Apple

Give this a shot:

1. How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

2. How to erase your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

You can stop here and set you iPhone as new without restoring from a back up and see if you still get that "Pop Up" (not a virus). If is is now gone. Repeat step #2 and go to step #3. If it is back again - then it is in your backup, not the fault of Apple. An App you have, data related to that App - perhaps Amazon > should contact their support.

3. Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

I just purchased my iPhone X maybe a week ago and have maybe 5 apps installed and one is the Holy Bible and the other is an app from my bank. I have not gone in and installed all my apps yet. Thanks for the info but since I haven’t put my apps back on to the phone I can’t see it being that. I believe this is some sort of virus that some bored person conjured up and set it out amongst Apple products to annoy the users of Apple.
