how do I get my old iTunes up as got purchased stuff there and when tried lost password it had my old phone number

Lost old phone, can't verify itunes sign in. About 2 years ago i lost my phone and have since replaced it, made a new apple ID and got a new sim card with new phone number. However, I now need to sign in to itunes to access music i bought using my old account with my old apple ID. I know this ID and the password but cannot verify the account since the phone and corresponding phone number is lost. Is there any way to update the old account's phone number to my new one or somehow connect the two accounts? Any help appreciated.

I had a phone we hadn’t used in months finally got it unlocked using my MacBook Air then now we summered every password but says it’s wrong and the number assigned to it I no longer have. I’m at a loss of what to do? How do I get my Apple ID passwordwhen the only thing connected is a old number I no longer have assigned to. I tried all my passwords used before I’m at a loss what to do next I tried all the things listed. And it won’t let me restore or erase it or remove it from my “find my iPhone” with out the password connect to the phone
