iPhone 7 Plus electrical popping noises through earphones

I just got a brand new iPhone 7 Plus and whenever I use earphones, I hear intermittent popping noises usually when activating the onscreen keyboard or when activating Siri/microphone. I've tried both earpods and another pair of earphones via the adapter and I get the same noises.

Anyone else experiencing this? What should I do?

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 11.2.6

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately this is not regarding my earphones not working, but rather an abnormal hardware issue that I've now confirmed by trying out some other iPhones. I have made an appointment at an Apple store to have the phone replaced.
