I know lots of folks love apple, but I don't. I need to learn how to use your software and your computers. I have been all over this site and I cannot find the link up to now to make an appointment for Genius bar. It is just running me around in circles.

What exactly is the problem? If you are looking for troubleshooting topics you are better off doing it online. We can help guide you. Some Apple Stores offer lessons and a web search such as

is a good way to find them and contact information.
If you are looking for help topics I find it helps to bookmark a search to the search site and then edit the existing search in the bar at the top. You can refine your search to restrict it to questions asked on these forums or only Apple knowledge base articles. Here's one such search:
I am sorry, but I have used both links, but unfortunately it still is running me around in circles. I am guessing the topic that I am requesting is not there and their is a barrier of sorts when I entered my request. To be specific, I simply want that Genius bar tutorial of "how to use macs" if it is available. A direct link to access that in New York City would be awesome.
