Did Apple send out a “Apple ID is Locked” email saying security measures have changed?I receuvrd

I received an Email from Apple regarding the Locking of my Apple ID soon if I did not dig in and change/Update security measures.

And why is it when I set this up to use Apple Community and it sent a verification code it says my ID was being used Atlanta, Georgia. I changed password thinking someone was using my account. Repeated the same process and it did it again so I said allow and it sent me the code. Why is it giving a wrong location???

False email Hi, I received an email from “APPLE SUPPORT” and I am hesitating if whether it’s true or not. It is letting me know that my APPLE ID is locked unless I verify it’s me by inputting my ID and PASSCODE. I have not done so because it is quite sketchy for me. Here is the website that it leads me to: https://apple.verification-account.security-center-accid.com/account/?view=login&appIdKey=172d039448356bd&country=US nothing on the site is clickable except for the tab to input my information. Please let me know if this is Apple.

I get notices from apple that my account has been locked, and requesting credit card info and SS# along with personal info. Does Apple ever sent out notices that your account has been locked? I receive emails from Apple addressed Team-support@apple-customer.com for your safety your account we locked (CASEl#DHISGOC) Told go to https://apple https://apple and verify my account Is there a way I can check my account? I received an email asking if I used my account in NJ then the email above. I don’t believe Apple would ask for my social security #
