Is 95 celsius acceptable during full load?

I installed Windows 10 with all drivers on my 2016 MacBook Pro (base model). I started BeamNG.drive and I touched the lid of the laptop and it was very very hot. Then, I downloaded the MSI Afterburner to check the temperature and during gaming, it was about 95 celsius. I checked the CPU/GPU usage and the CPU was at 30% but the GPU was at 100%. I don't know how but the fans were slow. I couldn't check the fan speed on Windows but they were slow at 90 celsius.

Is it normal? What can I do the decrease the temperature?

I played the game on 1366x768, low graphics. I put the computer on a book to get the best airflow.

I would not let the CPU in my own gaming PC get above 80 degrees. But this is a Mac, and this is Mac life! Most Macs has a way too underdimensioned cooling system. On top of that the fan curve it set to sacrifice cooling in favor of quietness. That's why it's so dead quiet until it gets to something like 90 degrees. I have Speedfan to control the fans on my gaming PC, but I don't know if it will work on a Mac. There's a program called SMC Fan Control, but I think that only runs on macOS.

That is very close to the temps where an automatic thermal shutdown will occur to protect the hardware, in the vicinity of 100C depending on model and vintage.

One tradeoff in notebook computer engineering is size v. ventilation. Having room for big fans means a big notebook, not something Apple seems to like. The fans in a MacBook Pro are as small as can be to save space. Also I find my iMac runs hotter in Win via boot Camp than in Mac OX. The one thing I can measure that is "apples to apples" for either system is exhaust air temp. It is always 5-10 F higher in Win than in Mac OS.

Any software suggestions may need to be asked in a Windows forum. However, based on my limited knowledge of the "Dark Side" i would make sure no anti-virus or cleaning/tune apps are running in the background. Shut down anything you've opened. If you run the game through a browser, don't use Chrome. It is a resource hog on either OS.

I have a MacBook Pro that I very much enjoy, and I like to test games. However, those two don't come together here. Games go on the 27-inch iMac with three fans. Even older 3D games run up temps on the MacBook Pro regardless of how I set the fans.

If you want to set fan speeds, this works on my iMac--don't know about newer MBPs: I use SMC FanControl for Mac OS to set up custom fan speeds. If I set them in macOS and then boot into Win, the speed setting made under OSX is retained. However I find the limited cooling capacity in a MacBook pro does not benefit much from higher fan speed when trying games.
