Recently turned iMessage off as many texts were not being received. Then iPad and iPhone stopped sharing texts. Texts sent on iPhone do not appear on iPad and received texts are appearing on iPad but not on iPhone. Have turned iMessage back on (both devices). Still no sharing. Help please!

Many thanks, I'll reread the guides (both already on phone and pad). Hopefully something will leap out and smack me around the face.
Am guessing (from what you say) that the messages appearing on my iPad are iMessages, but can't work out why they're not also appearing on my iPhone. Both devices are now set to allow iMessages.

See if restarting both the iPhone and iPad helps.

Only iMessages will show on ipad not SMS messages they are run by the network provider.
Go to i books download ios 11 user guide &iPhone SE guide both are free.
