Question: Pop-Up Menu Conditional on Previous Pop-Up Menu

I am trying to make a spreadsheet in which one pop-up menu is dependent on a previous pop-up menu answer, and hoping to make it so that there can be multiple steps.

For instance:

Column one would have a pop-up menu with a Make

Column two would then have a pop-up menu of Model depending on what the Make was

Column three would then have pop-up menu of Year depending on a spreadsheet for when those Models were sold

And then Column four would show the Price that car was sold for

Is this possible? I have seen other posts that talk about scripts and if statements and "show" and it doesn't seem exactly to be what I'm asking, or I'm just not understanding it. Please help.

Hi Niles,

Numbers does not support 'dynamic' popup menus. Each pop-up menu cell contains a fixed item list.

You can use filters to show only the row(s) containing the menu that applies for each choice in a previous pop-up.
