Remove Advanced Password Manager

How do I remove Advanced Password Manager? It says it is running in the background.

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)

The item you note is considered a malware or adware and isn't needed nor wanted

because it can affect or slow the mac and hinder its macOS function. Sometimes

these kinds of things are harder to find -and- remove than they were to get.


Some uninstall methods (manually) may be difficult when the command-line is used.

..Other means involve using free malwarebytes for mac [&/or] etrecheck from etresoft..

These products if gotten from their 'actual maker' sites, are good. Avoid other sources.

Other or manual methods may be reliable, perhaps someone in ASC may suggest them.

..Any hidden items that may remain (as some do) can be removed

usually with either of the listed products. I've used both, and each

one was originally produced by persons who contribute to ASC..


{etrecheck produces a report of items in your Mac, it could be helpful

in diagnostics or to remove untoward items. ~ And it posts here well.}
