photos not listed in iTunes "media Kind" top menu

trying to download photos to a first gen iPad, they used to be on there but now are all gone, i don't even see photos listed at all on the left side menu under "iPad"..(everything else is there) please help! thanks

i cant delete the photos hi for some reason i cant delete these photos even though they arent sync with my itunes in my windows and i cant delete them the trash bin isnt showing up and these photos before they even appear on my ipad i have deleted the original photo in my laptop like a LONG time ago i dont get the logic behind this??? did i press anything when i was trying to move my photos from my laptop ??
