Question: Can't log in to iMessage or FaceTime on Mac.

I am already logged into my iCloud on my Mac but every time I try to activate iMessage or FaceTime by logging in it says "An error occurred during activation. Try again." I have tried again, restarted my computer, and updated all software, but nothing is working. What do I do?
