How to stop applications start when opening my Mac Book Pro (late 2011). 13 in?

How can stop some applications to start running while i am opening my MBP. It slows down the computer?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), iOS 8.1

Open System Preferences > Users & Groups then select the Login Items tab.


You can remove apps from there so they won't boot when you startup your Mac.



System Preferences can be accessed from your Apple menu  (top left in your screen) or your Dock User uploaded file
