my imac leaves a page I'm in sometimes as I scroll with the mouse. I'm using OS10.13.3 High Sierra, 2.5 GHz Intel core i5

MacBook on OS Catalina no longer scrolls smoothly inside open windows Hello: In the past few das my MacBook has lost the ability to scroll smoothly. Scrolling is now annoyingly jumpy, and it is impossible to easily read a long page that requires scrolling. The problem occurs in a variety of applications, ranging from Word to Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Opera. What is going on? How can I fix this? Thank you, Peter
