I simply want to know how to delete the garbage apps that Apple bundled with my iPad. Storage is limited and I dont need anything that hogs resource. It feels like when Microsoft was bundling explorerand were sued.

Pre-installed apps (those that support it) can be deleted in the same way as you would delete an app that you had downloaded from the store yourself i.e. using the instructions on the page that you posted from : How to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
You can delete some but not all pre installed Apple apps.
Press and hold an an app until they all jiggle then tap the X then tap Delete.
