Can't play songs with "Unknown Album"

If you are not prepared to fill in the album field, I'm not sure what you expect.

For the future though, you should ensure that music you import, or add to your Library, has the relevant information filled in. Although not every single field in a piece of music is necessary, ones such as the song title, artist name and the album title are an important way of finding them on your iPod and it is accepted that such information should be a part of any purchased music or music imported from a commercially produced audio CD, as standard.

Why are so many of your songs missing the album title?

• Songs imported from an audio CD should have all the fields completed (by allowing iTunes to go online and find the information at import time)
• Songs purchased from the iTunes Store should have all the fields completed before they are downloaded to you
• Songs purchased from other outlets, such as Amazon, Beatport, Bandcamp etc. should have all the important fields completed - again, before you download them

Where did you obtain all this music if it's missing crucial information?

Oh and by the way, a frequent reason that the other people you refer to, who have asked this same question, have not received answer to their problem is often because they neglect to tell us something relevant.
