Slow Mac.

I downloaded Yosimite about 12 months ago only to find my system hobbled with the rainbow whirly thing. Desperate I followed advice on this site and re-fomatted the HD and re-installed Yosimite. It took me nearly all day. All fine now and MacBook is performing well. I think the original download from Apple was not integrated properly and probably I had a half and half installation.

Mac OS Slow on Macbook Pro mid 2012 Hey guys, so I have a mid-2012 Macbook Pro that had Catalina installed in it, there was a little lag so I tried to fixed it by using disk utility and other stuff but I made it worse, I tried to install Mojave with a bootable drive that I have and it's super slow now. There's no reason for it to be this slow because I have a 16 GB of memory and a 1TR SSD. Please help.

Yosemite upgrade I'm using MacBook Pro 2.4 Intel Core 2 Duo already upgrade to 10.10.5 but my mac book became too slow WHY?? Any suggestion or anything
