Question: How to create a smart playlist on iPhone iOS 11?

I’m trying to have some smart playlist as well as regular playlist that I can edit on my iPhone’s Music App and on my computer‘s iTunes, that means, I have to see the playlists on both devices.

I wonder if there’s an easier way to do it.

This is how I have done it so far:

1.- I create the smart playlist in iTunes with any rule and I make sure that I LIMIT it to 1 item (one, if it has no tracks is not possible to drag it) because I don’t want to draw any tracks from the computer to the iPhone.

2.- I select the playlist and drag it to the iPhone area in iTunes,

3.- I name It, I choose the rules and change the number of items I want the playlist to have.

I tried before making them in the iPhone area in iTunes but they were not visible on the iPhone’s Music App.

Does anybody know of a shorter way to do it? Thanks
