Recover Lost Files from Image Capture

I was using Image Capture to import video from an iPhone 6s directly to a hard drive (using a Macbook Pro). The import had completed, and I proceeded to use the delete from phone option in Image Capture to remove the videos from the phone. However, while deleting Image Capture crashed and none of the imported videos appear on the hard drive on the phone. Is there any way to recover these files?
