Restrictions on iPhone not working

Hi,

I‘m Elijah’s mum on his iPhone.

The phone lets everything through! I mean EVERYTHING!!! I did a xxxx site search and it let me on straight away! No asking to enter the passcode or ‘sorry I can’t find that’ like it used to.

It’s so restricted that it shouldn’t even let this Apple support page through, but it did first time. The only time I’m asked to enter the passcode is when I go to the restrictions menu.

TLDR; Restrictions isn’t working at all on a child’s phone. Anybody have the same issue? How did it get resolved?

Use a passcode with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

There's different kinds of passcodes. You only have a parental restrictions passcode set, not a device passcode.
