Photos on icloud

I had an iphone 5s before and I was using Icloud to save my photos. Now I have an iphone 8 & I want to see all photos but I can see only 270 photos in new iPhone

iCloud Hi guys, I have 2TB of iCloud storage and 64gb of iPhone storage, but 62gb is taken up by photos. I am wanting to put my photos from my iPhone storage to my iCloud storage but I still want to be able to see my photos on my phone. Is this possible? How do I do this? thanks!
