Siri confusing reminders with notes now?

siri used to understand “put [something] on the shopping list”, correctly, and create an item on the list in Reminders called “Shopping”.

No longer!

Now it is met with the response “Notes has not set this up with me yet”

Siri now confusing ‘Reminders’ with ‘Notes’ ?? Siri would recently understand “put [something] on my grocery list”, correctly, and she would add that item to my “Grocery List” in Reminders. However recently, she has started creating a “note“ with the name of the item I’m trying to add to my grocery list. ???? Anyone have any idea why this is happening? Or having the same issue? Follow up: Prviously I was to be able to add the first item by saying “hey Siri, add [eggs] to my grocery list, and after Siri confirmation I could immediately press the Siri button on the screen and say “add turkey bacon” and turkey bacon would be added to my grocery list as well. Now when I press the Siri button to add a second item the second item is created in notes. ????? Could this possibly be glitches in the upcoming redesign that had just leaked into the current iOS?

Siri Cannot Find a Shopping List... Repeatedly. When I ask Siri, "Hey Siri, add [item] to my shopping list", I get the response "I didn't find a "Shopping" list. Do you want to create one?". I say "Yes" and it creates a new list called "Shopping" in my Reminders app and adds [item] as a reminder in the new "Shopping" list. This is all fine and dandy, except for when I want to add something else to that same list and I get the same response from Siri saying "I didn't find a "Shopping" list. Do you want to create one?"... Any help here would be appreciated as I often add items to my shopping list verbally via the Google assistant using my Google shopping list and am disappointed to see Apple fail at this. Thank you :)

Siri cannot save Reminders to specific lists Currently, when adding new Reminders through Siri, it doesn't seem like there's any way to tell Siri the specific list you want to add the reminder to. Siri will always just add the reminder to the Default List specified in Settings > Reminders. I would like Siri to be able to understand a phrase like "Add a reminder to Mow the lawn in Family Tasks" or something along those lines, where "Mow the lawn" is the reminder name and "Family Tasks" is the name of the list. This feature would be incredibly helpful if implemented, and save me a good deal of time not having to manually move tasks to different lists in the Reminders app. thanks!
