Can't find docs on Pages for Mac

I use iCloud to sync all my documents. This includes Pages docs. Everything was synced on all the devices until I installed High Sierra on Mac Pro 3.1 (Early 2008).

When I open the Pages app for the Mac I cannot find the synced docs on iCloud. Of course I see and edit them on the other devices (iMac, MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone).

I tried to delete all the docs and upload them again on iCloud via iCloud.com.

I tried to delete the Pages app from the Mac and install it again.

I tried to delete all the docs and upload them through the finder on Pages folder of iCloud.

The iCloud Drive does includes the Pages folder right?

When I save a doc from the Pages app for Mac to the Pages folder of iCloud it saves it local.

What is going on here? Please help me!

The Early-2008 Mac Pro does not meet the hardware requirements to install Sierra or High Sierra. You would need a mid-2010 or later Mac Pro. So this begs the question, what does the  menu : About This Mac say about the installed version of OS X on your Mac Pro, and the hardware year in the mac pro (?) line?

The current version of Pages (v6.3.1) in the Mac App Store requires Sierra 10.12 or later. What explicit version of Pages do you have installed on the Mac Pro above (Pages : About Pages)?

Are you using the same Apple ID to sign-in to iCloud on the Mac Pro, as you are on the other devices?

By default, Pages will automatically open to the directory where the last file was opened, and save to the last directory where a file was saved. In these panels, you should be able to select iCloud Drive in the Open, or Save panels:

Power down the Mac Pro, and then boot it into Safe Boot mode. Do you have access to iCloud Drive from Pages here?

Reboot normally, and see if you have access to iCloud Drive with Pages again.

Go ahead with the Safe Boot mode.

Apple's hardware criteria for installing Sierra (same for High Sierra), doesn't say Early 2008 Mac Pro, so curious how you pulled off that magic with High Sierra 10.13.3.

I have been fortunate that my iCloud has always just worked on my devices, but here is something else to try. In your /Users/yourname/Library/Caches folder, there may be the following:

CloudKit folder
com.apple.icloud.fmtd folder
com.apple.iCloudHelper folder

Make a new folder on your Desktop, and move these three folders into it. Do not move anything else, or remove the Caches folder itself.

Reboot the Mac Pro. If needed, the System will recreate the sqlite3 databases in these folders, and it may resolve your current iCloud issue.

In System Preferences : iCloud : iCloud Drive : Options… — is the Pages icon selected? If not, the Pages folder will not appear on iCloud Drive, and any Pages documents within in it will not be available to you on the Mac.

I use the same iCloud name/password to all the devices. I have a different Apple ID for the App Store.

I can see the iCloud Drive in the save panels of Pages but it is empty. Normally it has documents on the Pages of the other devices or on the iCloud website.

I tried also the Numbers and Keynote and noticed the following:

The iCloud directory works fine to all the devices (Apps) and also through the iCloud website. The only problem is that the iCloud Drive directory on the Mac Pro seems to be local only. So this way there is no way to choose to open an existing document from the iCloud Drive neither to save one there, when I use the Apps on Mac Pro. The same happens on Finder directory also. I mean, I see the same on the iCloud Drive as I see through the Apps.

So, there is not communication of the Mac Pro directory with the iCloud Drive. Should I try also into Safe Boot mode?

I'm a magician. I think this is not a problem, because everything work perfect, except of this issue with the Pages.

I tried also into Safe Mode and I see the same empty iCloud Drive directory, which means a local one.

Yes I did it without results. Actually I have one document in the Pages folder of iCloud at the Mac Pro directory (the local problematic one) and after the erase of the folders mentioned it appeared again!

There is no connection with the iCloud server..
