How do you get youtube to stop playing

If you have access to the  in the upper left from the drop down choose>Force Quit> your browser.

When you relaunch the browser hold the shift key, opening a new window.

If you are truly stuck, you can force quit the machine by holding the power button down for an extended amount.

Try re-starting your browser.

Try right clicking your browser in the dock and clicking force quit.

Or you could try Command+Q to force quit as well.
