Do you know why Siri would randomly open despite me not activating it?
If the device is being charged then anyone can say "Hey, Siri" to activate it.
It's pretty easy to unintentionally activate Siri. Such as simply taking the phone out of your pocket/purse and touching the home button.
The phone was not charging and was just sitting on my desk, I did not touch it. I was talking on my work phone but did not say Hey Siri
That is a bit odd, but still no indication of anything. Hacking an iOS device that has not been jailbroken is just short of impossible.
I have had Siri just talk with no apparent interaction from me. I just turn it off and ignore it. A friend had the same thing on her phone.
How do you know if your phone is jail broken? I bought phone brand new
It's not. You, or someone who had access to your phone, and knows your passcode to get to the desktop would first have to install an app that allows you to do that.
