I recently inherited my mother’s iPad. How can I change her Apple ID to mine?

You will need her Apple ID and password to log her out of everywhere. Use the article below as a guide for where to sign out. Then follow the instructions above to erase the device.

If you don't know her Apple ID/password, take the device, the original purchase receipt, a copy of the death certificate, a copy of the will (if applicable) and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store.
