Appleplay maps

How do you increase the sound volume when using maps on Appleplay. I have a 2018 Honda CR-V. My phone is a 7plus IOS 11.2.6

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 11.2.6

My iPhone 7+ was already set to loud volume but still the volume is low and hard to hear. I tried turning up the radio itself but that just blasts whatever I'm listening way too loud. I have a Honda 2018 CR-V and I'm beginning to think it's more a problem with the vehicle than the phone.

I will try it in my wife's car and see if it's any louder.
