How do I unlock my activation lock on my iPhone 7 plus

Sorry I just wanted to ask about my iPhone so I got this iPhone from my uncle who died and i wanted to use his phone so when I rested his phone to make a new one it said sight into his Apple ID but I have no clue what it is I have a separate Apple ID from his can you please help me out here?

Activation lock I have a hand me down iPhone from a family member that I am unable to set up due to an activation lock. His Apple ID and password do not work to unlock the phone and we don’t know what ID and password were originally used. Apple Activation Lock Hello. I just got my brothers old iphone 6. Currently he is not here because he is in the Military. I powered the phone up and there was a password. I asked him and he said he forgot it. So i was told to Factory reset it from itunes. And i did. I go to set up the phone and there is an activation lock. It was not his apple ID. How can i get past the activation lock without the previous owner? Can the apple store remove it themselves?
