New Update Batterg Issues

Since I updated my phone my battery dies within 12 hours. Why??? Is this something Apple is working to fix? Why was I able to use my phone for 3 days before needing to charge it and now it can’t even maybe it thru a night when I’m sleeping and not even using it??
