Deleting iBook items

Some items will only go to the cloud - no permanent deletion. Some won’t delete or move to the cloud. Help please

What type of book are they ? ibooks from the iBookstore (and any other purchase) can't be permanently deleted, if you don't want them to show in the cloud you can hide them : Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - Apple Support

And what are the ones that you can't delete ? You should be able to delete downloaded/synced copies of any book/PDF
