Mac Pro 5.1 won't reset pram

Mac Pro mid 2010, 27in display starts with vertical strips, can't boot to diagnostics, can't reset pram, can't boot to recover or safe mode. When start button is held at start up eventually a flat long tone given then the chime tone but no change to stripped display.

Seems like USB keyboard not functioning in addition to display being sent bad video

MacPro 3,1 flashes every 30 sec, boot only in safe, monitor probs I have a Mac Pro 3,1 from 2008, 2.8 ghz Quad Core Intel, 16 ram, 4 hard drives. I run 10.6.8 and want that for certain software. All of a sudden, now all the time, it flashes every 30 seconds, and, on one of my dual monitors the image is all broken up in squares. The other monitor is fine.It won’t boot up in regular mode… the circle is going around just stops and freezes.It boots in safe mode, but the blinking happens.Can anyone give me some ideas of what to do. I see they only cost about $200, but if it’s simple I would like to do try.I think I tried PRAM.. I switched monitors and unplugged one. I used first aid.Thanks!

iMac startup sound or display I have a mid 2011 21.5inch iMac (Model A1311). I was upgrading from Mac OS 10.12 to 10.13. During the install I was in another room and heard a long tone. When I looked at the iMac the screen was blank. Pressing a key on the keyboard didn't activate the display. I left it for about an hour then I forced it to shut down by holding the power button.On pressing the power button the computer powers up - I can hear a faint whir of the hard drive or fan. But there is no startup sound and the display remains blank. I can switch it off by holding the power button for a few seconds.I've tried resetting the SMC but holding down command option shift and the power button. Still blank screen and no startup sound.I've tried disconnecting the mains cable for 15 seconds.I've tried disconnecting the keyboard. It's the only thing connected.I've tried removing the ram to see if I get the ram missing tone - I didn't.Any ideas?

27” Mac only boots to black screen My late 2015 27” Retina display is only booting to black screen. If it is left unplugged for a day or so it will boot up to the Apple symbol and look like it is trying to update something- it will only load about half way and then bring you to a login screen. After switching to the main user and logging in it will run normal for about 5 mins and then the screen will go black again. You can hear the computer still running and if you hit certain keys it will make sounds. We only have a wireless keyboard at this time and that doesn’t seem to allow you to boot into safe mode.
