Alarm volume too high

I have changed the volume in the Sound & Haptics settings but my alarm volume is still extremely loud. The only thing that seems to change is my ringtone volume. My alarm is always the same volume even when I change it.

Alarms my alarm volumes are always quiet no matter if I’m on do not disturb the level my volume is at or if I’m on silent or not. I’ve tried turning the sound and haptics volume to max with buttons and with change volume with buttons disabled. No matter what it is always at a quiet level.

My alarm is really loud, how do I fix it? I’ve adjusted the slider under sounds and haptics, but my alarm is still max volume. I don’t really prefer waking up to full volume…

How to increase the volume of a set alarm? The last couple of updates has taken away my alarm’s volume. It defaults back to low when I set up the alarm sound and increase the volume. The steps are: clock, alarm, +, sound, select then adjust the volume. Is there something I’m missing here?
