Can't "accept" Facetime calls on Macbook Pro running "High Sierra" v10.13.3

From some reason, I can make Facetime calls from my Macbook pro (High Sierra) but I cannot accept calls. I receive the notification that I am called on Facetime, but then I can't click on "accept" to receive the call. This has gone on for a few months and it's a bit ridiculous that has not been a fix for this.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)

Hi,

I would suggest taking your Mac to the Apple store and demonstrating the issue to them. However, before this. Try backing up your Mac and doing a factory reset and setup as a new Mac to see if this rectifies the issue. This is the first thing Apple will do, so save yourself sometime by doing this yourself.

Let me know the result of what I suggested.
