iPhone 7 plus stuck on Apple logo after reboot

I bought an iPhone 7 plus from someone and they had the 11.3 Beta iOS installed. Whenever the phone is rebooted it gets stuck at the Apple logo and requires me to go into DFU mode and do a full restore through iTunes. I tried doing just an update and it still freezes after reboot. iTunes did change the iOS version back to the stable 11.2.6, which is what I wanted, but if the phone is shutdown or rebooted it gets stuck every time, I've done it five times now. I even attempted to restore the iOS 11.2.6 from my computer using the IPSW backup and the same problem occurs. My phone does have a home button issue but the Assistive Touch works fine once I am able to get back to the working screen again. Please help me figure out how I can turn off my phone and I don't have to restore it every time I turn it back on.

Hi there, gHekIndustries!
Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are having an issue with your iPhone not booting up properly and I am happy to help out! Since the home button is not working and based on the steps you have tried, I would recommend taking a look at this article If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen. Specifically:

If you need more help

Contact Apple Support to set up service if you have any of these issues:

  • You still see a black screen after charging, force restarting, or following the steps in this article.
  • You see a black screen, but you can hear alerts, sounds, and vibrations.
  • The screen remains black, but the device chirps when you unmute it and connect it to power.
  • Your screen is on, but it doesn't respond when you tap, slide, or try other gestures.
  • You can't force your device to restart because a button is broken or stuck.
  • Your device is stuck on the Apple logo, displays a solid color, or isn't recognized in iTunes.

Cheers!

This is useless. I already said I did all of those steps so you're basically telling me I have to take it in to be serviced so I can be charged an arm and a leg to get it fixed. I didn't take my phone in to get the home button fixed because of the extortionist like prices. $300 for a button? This is the main reason I don't and won't be a steady iPhone user. Thanks but no thanks. I will just not restart the device and continue my enjoyment of Android devices and support.
