Re-installing FCP 7

Do I need to delete an existing FCP 7 before installing a recently purchased FCP 7?
My older MacBook Pro became too expensive to repair so I loaded all my files and apps from my Time Machine, but during a move I lost the box with serial # to open FCP.
Running OSX 10.7.5 on a MacBook Pro. I'm old and slow and still not yet ready for FCP X.

Also what is there a later OSX upgrade that still supports FCP 7, or should I just stay with 10.7.5?

Can't install older FCP onto producer laptop One of my producers upgraded his (non-M1) MBP to MacOS 11.6 and he accidentally auto-updated FCP to 10.6. I sent him a zipped copy of 10.5.4 but when he extracts and tries to launch it he gets an error saying the file is corrupt or damaged. I sent him two different zips of 10.5.4 thinking it was corrupted in transit but both failed the same way. mojave upgrade My mid-2010 iMac runs a 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5 and has 4GB of memory. It was upgraded to a 1TB SSD awhile back, and is running High Sierra without any glitches. Yet I cannot upgrade now to Mojave. Is this because of my serial number showing mid-2010?
