Can I use an external microphone on the iPhone?

I know that this question was already asked before but hardware and software evolve quickly and I'd like a confirmation basically.

I have a Blue Yeti USB microphone and an iPhone 6. Can I use that microphone with the iPhone?

If so which USB -> lightning adapter can I use
the one with only the USB port
or the one with USB and lightning input

or does it not matter?

Which apps support external microphones? (e.g. Voice Memos, iMovie, FilMic Pro)

Do I need an external USB hub with a separate power source?
