Answer:
Answer:

Hard to tell from here. Could be a bad instance of the keyboard, a bad connector on the iPad, or something else.

Have you considered taking it back where you bought it and requesting help or a refund if they cannot help?

I have a question maybe relate with the same issue. I have a first generation iPad Pro 12.9 and a smart keyboard. My problem is sometimes (1 out of 20) is operates well, but in the rest 19 times it is wrong. Could you please give me some solution. Maybe you have already faced with this issue. Many thanks Tamas

Tamas, did your Smart Keyboard come like this, did the problem start suddenly after you had it for a while, or did the problem women slowly over time?

What diagnostic steps have you taken? Have you tried gently cleaning the connectors on both the keyboard and iPad? Have you tried your keyboard with somebody else's iPad Pro or your iPad Pro with another keyboard? Have you tried taking them both to an Apple Genius Bar (or local equivalent) for diagnosis?

It have been using for 2 years after this problem comes.

I have already clean both devices but haven't tried it with other devices (other iPad or other keyboard). I am living in a small city since there are few opportunities and less professionals. They said it is a software issue.

Who said that? Was it an Apple expert who examined your hardware? I ask mostly to evaluate the likelihood it's an informed opinion.

Does rebooting or force restarting the iPad make the keyboard more likely to work for a while, less likely, or no difference?
