Apple ID won’t long in

my phone keeps asking me to sign into my Apple ID. When I enter the correct password it doesnt do anything but just freezes my phone. I’ve tried turning My phone on and off and the furthest I get is logging in but then after about half an hour it asks me to log in again.

iPhone SE, iOS 11.2.6

Are you logged into Settings/Your Name/iCloud when you get the request?

Try a forced restart.
