How to delete and reinstall notes on iPad with cloud storage...ios11

Notes is freezing on my Ipad...should I delete/reinstall? Thank you.

iPad Pro, iOS 8.1.2

Well, to make sure they are actually on iCloud, and going to sync back, go to iCloud.com on any computer, and click on your Notes app. You should see all of your Notes there. Then, the process of turning them off and back on again will only remove them from the device. Once they are turned on again, they will re-sync.

Why not? Delete the app, reinstall it, then turn Notes back on in iCloud (if it has turned off) and wait for iCloud to sync the Notes back.

Thank you...I’m not all that literate, and losing about five years of notes scared me. I’ll give it a go.
