how can i fix my headphone jack?

headphone jack is not working, plug in AUX cord to headphon jack, but sound plays through phone instead of speaker.

Make a Genius Bar appointment at the nearest Apple Store to have the hardware examined by Apple. They will explain your options from there. The headphone port is not user serviceable.
