Welcome to Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you changed your password to a new password, but you keep getting these notifications saying the password is incorrect. I can help with this. First, make sure that Apple ID and password is correct. You can verify this yourself by visiting the Apple ID website here: Manage your Apple ID - Apple


If you're able to log into your Apple ID successfully, then try these steps for signing out and then back into your Apple ID on your iPad:
What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support

Specifically, follow these steps:

If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later, go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store.

  • If you're signed out, enter your updated Apple ID and password.
  • If you're signed in with your previous Apple ID, tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out. Then enter your updated Apple ID and password.
and these, if your iCloud account is the same Apple ID

If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later, go to Settings > [your name]. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iCloud.

  • If you're signed out, enter your updated Apple ID and password. The data in iCloud will automatically appear on your device after you sign in.
  • If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID:
    1. Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then follow the onscreen steps. You might need to enter your password. Your data will remain in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
    2. Enter your updated Apple ID and password.
