itunes doesn't recognize my DVD/CD drives

I have two audio CD/DVD drives on my Windows 10-Pro (v1709) on HP Compaq 8200 Elite USDT PC. One is external USB and the other is internal. They are visible in Explorer. When I put an audio CD in them, they show basic track information (.CDA files). Both devices show in the Device manager without errors. There are no pending windows updates.

I have never been able to get iTunes to recognize these CDs. iTunes behaves as if these drives do not exist - they are not apparent in any of the iTunes menus.

What do I do now?

Thanks.
